Patient Comfort & Preventative Care
Our practice philosophy is Preventive Care, to stop potential problems before they occur. The American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry recommends that children should see a dentist when they get their first tooth and no later than one year of age. A child’s visit to the dentist at an early age is a good way to learn proper oral hygiene to promote good oral health. Tooth decay (dental caries) affects children in the United States more than any other chronic infectious disease. Untreated tooth decay causes pain and infections that may lead to problems; such as eating, speaking, playing, and learning. The good news is that tooth decay and other oral diseases that can affect children are preventable. Dr. Inessa Bertman-Zats is a mother of two children and understands how proper oral hygiene and regular dental visits will improve the quality of your child’s development.
